About the Role


We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our telecom business across assigned territories. This role is ideal for a strategic sales leader with strong market knowledge, distributor management experience, and the ability to drive revenue growth in a competitive telecom environment. You will be responsible for building high-performing sales networks, strengthening channel partnerships, and ensuring consistent achievement of regional sales targets.




Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute territory-level sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets




  • Manage and grow distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks within the assigned area




  • Lead, mentor, and monitor field sales teams to ensure optimal performance and productivity




  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities




  • Ensure effective rollout of telecom products, schemes, and promotional campaigns




  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and relationship management across the region




  • Monitor sales performance, prepare regular MIS reports, and share insights with leadership




  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and brand guidelines






Required Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)




  • 5–8 years of sales experience in the Telecom industry, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role




  • Strong experience in channel sales, distributor management, and field operations




  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets




  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
